Fail: The gun-control narrative

Don't confuse me with facts! There are innocent children who died because of guns! Remember the kids!

The gun-control narrative is simple: take the deaths of the innocent children in Sandy Hook and capitalize upon them using high-caliber emotion and arguments based solely in repeating the same, tired talking point that guns killed those children. Adam Lanza didn’t kill those children. No. Guns did. Remove and ban guns and poof!, no more Sandy Hooks. It’s just common sense!

By banning “certain guns”, *cough cough*, we, as a civilized and enlightened society who have evolved past needing such primitive weapons of mass-killing, can then eliminate all gun violence, ever. It will work, trust us! Never mind homicide stats from Chicago or Detroit or DC involving guns…that’s not the point. The point is that 20 innocent and unsuspecting children in Sandy Hook died because of guns. That is all that matters. That’s the whole of the narrative.

We aren’t trying to abolish the Second Amendment you gun nuts love so much. We are merely modifying it for the greater good. We are just telling you what guns you are allowed to have based on our discretion. We know what’s best for you. I know, I know, there is that pesky “infringed upon” wording in your precious Second Amendment, but didn’t I mention there are 20 dead kids at Sandy Hook?

Dianne Feinstein has proposed the most horrific and reprehensible legislation according to the gun nuts and the gun-clingers, and rightly so. It is obvious they do not have the emotional or mental ability to handle the guns they so rabidly love. Nancy Lanza made her son, Adam, into a killer because she was a prepper and a gun nut herself. I read it on the Internet, so it must be true. Besides, we all know, of course, that gun nuts are weird and paranoid, all thinking that the government, especially Obama’s government, is out to get them. If only they would embrace our New America and stop hating rainbows and unicorns and free birth control.

The gun nuts are showing themselves to be crazy and unstable, just like Adam Lanza and his mother. Haven’t you been reading their rhetoric? They are all just parroting that NRA nonsense, ad nauseum, and proving time and again how unhinged they really are.

I know many of you “righties” hate Hitler, but consider the wisdom in his words.

You may say he is a “leftist” and out to destroy America, but he makes a lot of sense here. Guns need to be removed fro polite society. The greater good is paramount. Your “individual rights” pale in comparison to the 20 dead children in Sandy Hook. No militias. No native police. Let the government, our government, handle such things on their own. They are, after all, wiser and smarterer than us all.

It’s time to give up your guns and be reasonable.
